Updates 2019

January 2019

On January 8, 2019 I received word from the Isoro Traditional Council of Chiefs that at my request, they had divined Ifa names for the CHOSEN, Ibeji, Holders of the Irukeres of the previous Ooni!

On January 27, 2019 we conducted a small ceremony at Ile Awo Orisa to anoint the Ibeji with their sacred names in the presence of Egun, Orisa, and the community.

Ibeji Dwayne M., Omo Obatala, received the name OriSagbemi which means, 'Orisa (Obatala) has prospered me'. It was noted that Orisa is also one of the Praise Names for Baba Obatala.

Ibeji Taylor N., Omo Oshun, Omo Eshu, received the name Osunyemi which means, 'Oshun has blessed me'.

The following 18 pictures are some the the images from that ceremony.
