Ifa Calendars
In the diaspora the seven day calendar is primarily used since it can
be syncratized with the solar calendar. This seven day calendar
also has its roots in Yorubaland and Ifa.

The Yoruba lunar calendar is based upon a four day week. Each
of the days of the week are associated with various Orisa. Every day
belongs to Eshu. The same may be said for Ori (your piece of Olodumare's
consciousness). An Ifa practitioner whose Guardian Orisa has been read
should homage and feed their Orisa every 5 days.
