It
is a privilege and a blessing to be able to sit with the Amulewaye
(he who seizes earth upon entering the world), the Alatunse Awo
(Moderator of all Babalawos worldwide), the Orisa Tunwase
(The Emissary of Obatala), the Olumesin Oduduwa (the Promoter
of the Religion), and have my questions answered. To be able to clear
away that which has gathered on the surface of that which lies at the
core; at the Root is an opportunity to seek knowledge and understanding.
To be able to trace the foliage of the tree to the seed that produced
it; that is an opportunity to gain wisdom. That which will be sustained
must rebuild, renew, and revitalize itself, and continue to produce
offspring born of the same seed and nourished by the same soil. So it
is with Ifa and all Indigenous Spiritual Systems. We must go back to
the source of what we say we believe; the wanderer must return to the
beginning in order to see the world differently; that which was lost
must be found in order for the world to become whole again. [Photo:

Baba
Adelekan has consistently said to me that there is no gain for one who
is given knowledge, and does not share it. This section of commentaries
are based upon knowledge that Orisa Tunwase has shared with me directly
and that he has encouraged me to share with you. But, how could I speak
to you from Olumesin Oduduwa, and not speak to you from that which Orisa
and Ancestors also share with me directly. Hence, Commentaries. [Photo:
