Fa Jing Lesson 2
Fa Jing, Southern Stone Fist, & Breaking
Namaste’ Students and Fellow Martial Arts Enthusiasts!
I first came in contact with Southern Stone Fist in relation to Grandmaster Alan Lee's father, Li Ten Tong, who was a renowned Master of the Style. Grandmaster Lee did not teach specifically about Southern Stone Fist, at least not in any of my classes. But his instruction on the Female and Square Vertical Punches conjured in me ideas related to the Southern Stone Fist Style.
In the 7 Circles System the principle idea is to generate great striking power within a very short distance. It also involves using 'snapping' power rather than 'pushing' power.
In this video lesson, Seifu Sharif is teaching Senior Student, Seifu Andrew, on one of the fundamental principles and basic philosophies of the 7 Circles System striking techniques.
