Our goal is to inform, educate, inspire, encourage, and motivate others to improve their lives by applying The Wisdom of the Ancients.

As your teacher and host, Seifu Sharif [aka: Xia` Xue' Gong] [aka: Tobi Alakoso] is dedicated to helping each of you to remember and nurture the Spirit of Wu-Te and the powers dormant within you.

Asian Influence on the 7 Circles System

As indicated in Seifu Sharif's Profile, he has been fortunate to study with several highly qualified Teachers, Masters, and Grand Masters of various martial and healing arts. However, as he describes in his book, Unlocking The Healing Powers in Your Hands: The 18 Mudra System of Qigong, the heart of soul of the 7 Circles System has been and remains the strong foundation laid by Grand Master Alan Lee. In the martial arts world lineage is considered very important. Seifu Sharif describes the 7 Circles System as a Traditional Shaolin-based system with contemporary adaptations, variations, forms.

Grand Master LeeAfter searching for five years for a sense of true fit, Seifu Sharif was introduced to Grandmaster Alan Lee, the Patriarch of the teaching of Shaolin Kung Fu in the West, and especially to non-Chinese. Seifu Sharif internalized and built upon the foundation and lineage of instruction and training that he received from Grandmaster Alan Lee and two of his top students, George Hudson (Abdel Rashed) and Talib din Hassan. Spanning the period of 1965 thru 1978 Seifu's training included kung fu, qigong, medicine, and Asian Philosophy. The first three years at the temple, located in downtown Manhattan, were of course the most important in rooting our system in the Shaolin tradition. We pay homage to Grandmaster Li Ten Tong of the Southern Stone Fist Style and Grandmaster Ghi as the Ancestral Patriarchs of what under Grandmaster Alan Lee came to be known as Northern/Southern Shaolin Kung Fu Wu-Su. In 1980, after training and teaching for 15 years in New York City, Seifu Sharif moved to Phoenix, Arizona and shifted the Northern/Southern emphasis of Grandmaster Alan's system to a Southern/Northern emphasis (because of the much hotter climate). It was this shift that began the development of the 7 Circles System of Southern/Northern Shaolin Kung Fu Wu Su, Wu Kung, & Qigong.
